We believe in respecting the dignity of all people and serving in our local beloved community, supporting ministries of the Episcopal Church, and a partnership with Fort Dauphin in the Diocese of Toliara, Madagascar.
Every other month we prepare and serve a meal through the Community Meal program at Christ Church, Waukegan. On average we hand out 60-80 meals, snack bags, and water. More importantly, we make connections with others, sharing the Good News.
Providing Advocacy, Dignity, and Shelter is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shelter, permanent supportive housing, and comprehensive resources to families with children and individuals experiencing homelessness in Lake County. Year-round, we provide sack lunches for those individuals monthly.
We support Fort Dauphin in the Diocese of Toliara, Madagascar through prayer, relationship, and sponsorship of students and teachers.
A rotating group of Lay Eucharistic Ministers from our parish leads a Sunday service at Sunrise Assisted Living Facility. The Eucharistic elements are consecrated at the 9 a.m. service, and the worship leaders for Sunrise are sent forth to lead the service at the assisted living facility.
Our holiday giving tree supports the Caring 4 Kids Clothing organization, which provides clothing for needy children in the greater Chicago area.
Members of the congregation, our deacon, and our priest share ministry at Annunciation of Our Lady.
